As part of Bouygues Construction's Public Works division, VSL International participates in the construction of major technical structures and guarantees their structural safety and durability: transport infrastructure (bridges, tunnels), industrial and energy production structures, and commercial buildings.

Position
We are seeking a Marketing & Graphics Coordinator to join VSL, supporting marketing, communications, client engagement, and business development activities across the UK.
This is a hybrid role based at our Waterloo Head Office, with occasional travel to project sites, industry events, conferences, and exhibitions as required.
Ideal for a recent graduate or early-career marketing professional, this position offers hands-on experience across marketing, communications, graphics, branding, and events management within the engineering and infrastructure sector. You will contribute to the development of marketing materials, value propositions, digital content, and stakeholder engagement activities while supporting the promotion of VSL's projects, people, and technical expertise.
Main Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications Support
- Assist with the creation of presentations, project profiles, brochures, case studies, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Support the development of compelling value propositions, bid support materials, and client-facing communications.
- Create engaging content for internal and external communications channels, including social media and digital platforms.
- Ensure all marketing content aligns with VSL's brand standards, messaging, and visual identity.
- Support the collection and promotion of project achievements, technical innovations, and business success stories.

Graphics & Creative Content
- Develop visually engaging PowerPoint presentations, graphics, infographics, and promotional materials.
- Support the design and production of brochures, flyers, exhibition materials, and digital assets.
- Assist in maintaining a consistent visual identity across all communications and marketing outputs.
- Work with internal stakeholders to transform technical information into engaging and accessible content.
Events & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the planning and delivery of conferences, exhibitions, networking events, careers fairs, and client engagement activities.
- Assist with event logistics, registrations, presentations, attendee communications, and promotional materials.
- Support post-event reporting and the capture of content for future marketing and communications activities.
- Help strengthen relationships with clients, industry partners, universities, and professional institutions.
Marketing Coordination & Administration
- Maintain marketing calendars, activity schedules, and communication plans.
- Support the management of marketing documentation, image libraries, project information, and content repositories.
- Assist with reporting on marketing activities and performance metrics.
- Provide administrative support for marketing campaigns, communications activities, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, Media, or a related discipline.
- Some practical experience through internships, placements, university projects, part-time work, or extracurricular activities is desirable but not essential.
- Interest in marketing, communications, branding, graphics, and events management.
- Interest in engineering, infrastructure, construction, or major project environments would be advantageous.

Technical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience using Canva and an interest in graphic design and visual communications.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is advantageous.
- Understanding of social media platforms and digital communications.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional marketing content
