JOB PURPOSE
JCB Europe is evolving its marketing and communications approach from channel-led digital support to a more insight-led, content-driven model. The Marketing Insights & Content Executive will support this shift by reviewing data and research, identifying clear content opportunities, and producing high-quality written and derivative content for JCB’s owned, earned, partner, and sales enablement channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Insight review and data interpretation
- Review campaign, social, website, CRM, partner, sales, and market research inputs to identify useful insights and content opportunities.
- Support the interpretation of performance dashboards, monthly reports, and campaign results, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies using analytic tools.
- Translate data into plain-English summaries, highlighting the “so what?” and suggesting practical next steps.
- Support competitors, media, and content benchmarking to understand what themes, formats, and messages are gaining attention in the market.
2. Content creation, storytelling, and reporting
- Draft, edit, and adapt content in various formats (written, design, and artwork), and media including LinkedIn, The Payments Hub, email, newsletters, thought leadership, sales one-pagers, presentation decks, and internal stakeholder updates.
- Turn complex payments, merchants, travel, retail, or partner information into clear and audience-relevant narratives.
- Develop content angles from data, research, and internal subject matter expertise, ensuring every piece has a clear message and purpose.
- Create short-form and long-form copy that is concise, accurate, on-brand, and suitable for JCB’s B2B audiences.
- Track how content performs across relevant channels, including reach, engagement, traffic, downloads, enquiries, qualitative feedback, and other agreed KPIs.
3. Hero content and derivative asset support

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
