I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Budget Pacing & Projections
- Own forward-looking budget pacing and spend projections across channels and campaigns, ensuring spend stays ROI positive
- Track progress against OKRs, connecting budget pacing and campaign performance back to team-level goals
- Flag pacing or ROI risk early and recommend reallocation based on performance
- Support goal tracking and forecasting with data-backed projections
- Coordinate with the Growth Operations Lead, who owns budget tracking and actuals, so pacing and tracking stay reconciled
Ad Hoc Reporting & BI Partnership
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting for leadership as priorities and questions arise
- Act as the primary point of alignment with BI, who build and maintain the underlying dashboards: define reporting requirements, validate KPI definitions, and ensure what BI builds reflects what Growth actually needs
- Ensure KPI and metric definitions are applied consistently across all reporting
- Surface data-quality or coverage gaps to BI rather than building workarounds independently
- Triage reporting requests from the Campaign Leaders and Managers, determining what can be pulled by the team vs. what we need BI Support for.
