Marketing Intern (Remote, Part-time)
Company: Yamamoto Rock Splitter, Ltd
Location: Remote (UK-based; must have the right to work in the UK)
Duration: 6 months
Start date: Immediate
Commitment: 8–10 hours per week
Pay: £13 per hour, plus a completion bonus on successful delivery of agreed target assignments
About the Role
Yamamoto Rock Splitter, a global rock excavation specialist, is looking for a marketing intern to help us grow our online visibility with search engines and with AI-powered answer tools. You will help research, write, and publish content that supports our SEO (search engine optimisation) and AEO (answer engine optimisation) strategy, so that customers in construction, mining, and related industries can find us when they search for solutions.
This is a hands-on role. You will work on real content that gets published, and you will learn how B2B marketing works in a specialized industrial market through collaborations with a small group of experienced marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research topics, keywords, and questions that our target customers are searching for
- Draft clear, accurate, and engaging content such as blog posts, FAQs, product explainers, and how-to articles
- Structure content so that it performs well in both traditional search results and AI-generated answers
- Publish and format content on our website and other channels
- Use LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support research, outlining, and drafting, while fact-checking and refining the output
- Research competitors and industry trends to identify content opportunities
- Learn about our products and the construction and mining industries so that the content is credible and useful
- Complete the target assignments agreed at the start of the internship

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
