Marketing Student Placement – Brand & Digital Marketing

Location: Reading, Berkshire, UK
Employment Type: Student Placement / Full-time
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office
Start Date: June 2027

Overview

Marketing placement supporting brand campaigns, digital content, consumer insights and market analysis across leading consumer brands. The role combines hands-on marketing execution, project management, data analysis and digital experience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support digital content across websites, mobile platforms and social media.
  • Analyse market research, sales data and brand performance.
  • Support social media, PR, influencer activity and promotional campaigns.
  • Create and coordinate marketing content, advertising and internal communications.
  • Support events, multimedia projects and brand activations.
  • Monitor industry trends, market research and competitor activity.
  • Support procurement, budget management, invoicing and supplier coordination.
  • Contribute to website optimisation, analytics and digital experience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Shopper Marketing, Digital, Finance, IT and external agencies.
  • Support ad hoc projects including corporate responsibility initiatives.

  • At least two years of degree-level study completed.
  • Minimum 2:1 achieved in first year.
  • Business-related degree or demonstrable interest/experience in marketing.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial, market, scientific and other complex information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Creative, organised and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
