Role Overview

The Marketing and Digital Intern at RCA Records has become a key role within our label. The tasks that are assigned to this job are fundamental to the team and the way we work. You will support both the marketing and digital team at RCA with a broad range of tasks and projects. We expect our intern to become as much a part of the team as anybody else, meaning your ideas and input into everything we do including specific artist campaigns is really important. Whilst the job specification is clearly set out, we will work to understand the key skills you wish to get out of the internship and will help in delivering those as much as possible.

Ways of Working

  • Office attendance: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office working days.
  • Flexibility: There is flexibility in office attendance dependent on team projects.
  • Offsite working: You will be expected to attend events, shoots, gigs, or work outside the office during office hours, evenings, and potentially weekends.

What you'll do

  • You will be an ‘ambassador’ for the RCA digital and marketing departments while working closely with all members of the team and other areas of the business.
  • General admin assistance for the team (Setting up suppliers, Raising PO’s, running reports, booking travel, organising and setting up meetings/rooms, meeting minutes).
  • Liaising with third-party designers across all marketing campaigns.
  • Use internal Sony analytics tools and maintain weekly reports.
  • General communication with artists, management, and third-party suppliers (where applicable).
  • Circulate marketing and media campaign information to all internal departments.
  • Traffic Commercials to relevant Broadcasters via hardcopy or digital delivery.
  • Assist Marketing Managers with artist events, showcases, etc.
  • Keep abreast of market developments, new technologies, market conditions.
  • Suggest concepts and ideas, inputting into creative meetings, and the general creative process.
  • Support the team on content and schedules for label’s socials and websites, including the Sony site: copywriting, photo and gig reports, image and short video editing.
  • Keeping across trends and cultural moments.
  • Managing marketing assets and secure music streams for campaigns.
  • Maintain RCA release schedules, gig diaries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
