FTC Marketing Lead- Rotherham

Contract Length: 12 months from end of October 2026

Salary: Circa £40k per annum

Working Hours: Open to both full time and part time applicants

We’re working with a well-established, family run business.

You will be expected to take ownership of day-to-day marketing for two different brands across their three sites. This is a standalone, hands-on role covering marketing planning, content creation and campaign delivery, working closely with teams across the business.

The Role

Marketing planning: Managing the marketing calendar around our weekly auction schedule, special sales, new vendors and business announcements. Prioritising activity across both brands.

Social media: Planning, creating and scheduling daily content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok, alongside managing comments and messages.

Content creation: Capturing photography and video on site, editing reels and promotional videos, and working with colleagues to showcase stock, auctions and services.

Customer communications: Writing, designing and sending email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns to existing and prospective customers, tailoring messaging to different audiences.

CRM and data management: Keeping customer records accurate and up to date, importing new contacts, managing mailing lists and segmenting audiences for targeted campaigns.

Design and marketing materials: Creating digital and printed assets, including social graphics, email banners, brochures, auction materials, internal signage, screen displays, branded merchandise and stationery.

Website management: Updating website content, promotional information and marketing messaging.

Paid advertising: Planning, managing and monitoring Meta advertising campaigns, including creative, targeting and budget tracking. Working with an external provider to create and monitor Google Ads when required.

Copywriting and communications: Writing promotional copy, blogs, company news, PR content and internal newsletters, maintaining the right tone for each brand.

Campaign tracking and reporting: Monitoring campaign performance and key marketing metrics, including social reach, engagement, audience growth and enquiries or registrations where tracking is available. Using results to improve future activity.

Internal coordination: Working with site teams, sales colleagues and management to gather stock information, agree priorities and ensure communications are accurate and delivered on time.

Brand consistency: Maintaining consistent branding and messaging across two brands while clearly communicating their different services.

Essential Skills & Attributes

We're looking for someone who combines strong strategic thinking with genuine hands-on marketing experience.

We are open to candidates who are finished an FTC and want to jump into another, or candidates who are freelancing and are looking for additional work.
