About the company

A well-established charity and training provider operating in the technical apprenticeships and vocational skills sector. Historically built around apprentice-focused marketing, the organisation is now backing a genuine commercial pivot, building out an employer-facing B2B function from the ground up to grow commercial training revenue alongside its established apprenticeship offer.

Role responsibilities

  • Lead a complete commercial redirection of the marketing function, moving it from an apprentice-acquisition focus to a genuine employer-facing, B2B lead generation strategy
  • Build and own the employer marketing and lead generation strategy from the ground up, with real freedom to shape how the function works and where it focuses next
  • Take full ownership of lead generation, converting enquiries into enrolments and building a strong pipeline of marketing-attributed commercial revenue
  • Identify new sectors and employer segments to target, developing value propositions and multi-channel campaigns to reach them
  • Line manage a small marketing team, bringing in new ways of working as the function evolves around this new commercial focus
  • Build senior relationships with employers and strategic partners to support long-term growth
  • Champion the use of AI, automation, and marketing technology to modernise how the team operates
  • Report directly on campaign performance and commercial outcomes against agreed lead and revenue targets, with high visibility at leadership level

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
