Role Overview

Our client is a fast-growing advisory business with an established reputation. After sustained year-on-year growth, they are making their first dedicated marketing hire to strengthen their market presence, generate new business, and support ambitious international growth. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a marketing function from the ground up, where your ideas will shape the approach, your influence will be recognized, and your work will have a visible commercial impact.

As the business's first Marketer, you will set the marketing strategy, build the foundations, and deliver hands-on activity across brand, lead generation, and client engagement in UK and US markets. You will work directly with the leadership team to shape how the business goes to market, with scope to grow the function as it succeeds.

Role Highlights

  • Build the marketing function from scratch, including strategy, processes, tools, and reporting.
  • Create and deliver a marketing plan aligned with the business's growth objectives.
  • Lead a major brand and website relaunch across multiple marketing channels.
  • Run digital marketing hands-on, including social media, content, SEO, CRM, and email campaigns.
  • Put lead generation programs in place that bring in qualified opportunities and support business development.
  • Set up performance tracking, prove marketing's commercial impact, and bring in external agencies or freelancers where needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
