About New College Group (NCG) | Connecting the World through English

New College Group (NCG) is a specialist English language college providing courses to Adults and Young Learners who travel to the UK to learn English. NCG was established in 2011 and has year-round schools in Manchester and Liverpool. We also run summer schools for our younger students.

This role is based at our Manchester City Centre office, close to Piccadilly Gardens. We are offering a hybrid role where you’ll be in the Manchester office for 3 days a week, with the option to work 2 days from home. The role will involve occasional travel to other NCG locations to produce marketing content.

The Role

We are seeking a creative, hands-on, and proactive Marketing Lead to oversee the day-to-day marketing operations of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional to take ownership of our multi-channel strategy, drive student recruitment globally, and elevate the NCG brand across our year-round and summer programmes.

Key Duties

  • Planning, executing, and optimising digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
  • Managing NCG’s social media channels and email marketing communications.
  • Managing and updating NCG’s website content.
  • Developing content strategies to engage international students, agents, and educational partners.
  • Monitoring expenditure across paid marketing channels, including Google Ads and Meta Ads, and managing campaign budgets.
  • Tracking, analysing, and reporting on campaign performance, ROI, and lead generation.
  • Supporting campaign performance and tracking student enrolment conversion.
  • Coordinating the creation of promotional materials, brochures, and digital assets.
  • Supervising and developing a small marketing team of contractors, including appraisals and training needs.
  • Acting as a point of contact for creative agencies, media partners, and external suppliers, including overseeing the ordering and management of NCG merchandise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
