Marketing Lead | Independent Music Label
Location: London
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Salary: 45-50k
I'm working with an established independent music business that is looking for an experienced Marketing & Audience Lead to join its team.
This is a senior marketing position with responsibility for developing and delivering campaigns across a roster of artists, combining strong creative thinking with audience insight, data, and commercial awareness. Working closely with artists, management teams, and internal stakeholders, you'll have the opportunity to influence campaign strategy, artist development, and audience growth across a varied roster.
The Role
- Lead the development and delivery of marketing campaigns across a roster of artists
- Build long-term audience and artist development strategies alongside artists and management teams
- Use audience data, platform insights, and cultural trends to identify opportunities and inform campaign direction
- Work with creative teams and external partners to develop compelling campaign concepts and artist positioning
- Develop digital and audience growth strategies, including working with paid media specialists
- Identify opportunities to maximize the potential of existing music and catalogue
- Manage campaign budgets and ensure activity is commercially focused and effectively delivered
- Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and international partners where required
- Work cross-functionally to develop wider opportunities around artists and campaigns
- Oversee relevant product and campaign activity, working with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to wider commercial planning, forecasting, and strategic discussions
- Support and mentor junior members of the marketing team

About You
We're looking for an experienced music marketeer who has already built a strong track record within a record label or comparable music environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience delivering artist marketing and development campaigns
- A good understanding of audience growth, digital platforms, and paid media
- The ability to turn data and audience insight into clear, actionable marketing decisions
- Strong creative instincts and an understanding of artist identity and positioning
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work directly with artists, managers, and external partners
- Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Experience managing or mentoring junior colleagues
- A genuine passion for music and curiosity around different artists, genres, and audiences
