- Manage, motivate and support the internal Marketing Assistant, providing clear direction and effective leadership.
- Oversee the external marketing agency, reviewing and approving campaign strategies, creative approaches and ongoing activity.
- Review and approve email marketing strategies developed by the agency, whilst creating targeted standalone campaigns where required.
- Oversee digital, social media, email, website and PR activity, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all channels.
- Work closely with partner venues to develop and deliver effective local marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales.
- Manage marketing budgets, monitor return on investment and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Regularly attend live music events, concerts and productions to capture engaging content for social media and email marketing channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within live music, concerts, live entertainment, events, theatre, touring or ticketing would be particularly advantageous.
The role is predominantly remote, with regular travel to events and occasional in-person meetings with the Marketing Director, who is based in the North West of England. The successful candidate should therefore be comfortable with occasional travel to the region as required.
