I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

For Meetings, the focus is on an experimental product led strategy, acquiring new paying users through various channels.
You will closely collaborate with other departments across the business on all areas of B2B Marketing, from content to product to advertising, and will have support from a performance marketing agency and freelance designer. You’ll find creative ways to reach, educate, inspire and engage our target audiences. As a small team, every day is different! You should be prepared to prioritise ruthlessly, collaborate with other departments and adapt to the changeable nature of a start-up.

We’re looking for someone with previous B2B Marketing experience in a start-up environment. You are a generalist marketer, willing to get involved wherever needed. Supported by the Chief Commercial Officer, as well as a Performance Marketing agency and freelance designer, you will assist across a variety of campaigns and channels and have true business impact.
