Marketing Lead

As Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a wide range of marketing activities that advertise our brand and in turn generate new enquiries. You will also support marketing efforts across the business and be responsible for writing internal and external copy. You'll be a highly organised individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating engaging content in line with our brand guidelines. You will also be responsible for ensuring the content of our website is up to date and as engaging as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is creative, solution-focused, and confident working both strategically and hands-on.

The role is based at our Support Hub Office in between Hurstpierpoint and Burgess Hill.

Hours & Pay

  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

About Us

Kiddie Capers Childcare are a growing Nurseries & Preschool company operating multiple nurseries in the Sussex area. We are owned and operated by two local families. At Kiddie Capers Childcare we give our children a safe, happy, and creative environment where they are inspired and encouraged to develop new ideas and interests. Essential

  • Marketing qualification; degree or similar
  • Someone who is creative, can think outside of the box, and is a problem solver
  • A team player
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Commercial awareness
  • Someone who can work at pace
  • Experience in using Canva or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to maintain brand consistency
  • Proven experience in creating engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Full driver’s license

Desirable

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop, design, and implement marketing campaigns that support nursery occupancy growth and brand awareness across all our settings working to tight budgets.
  • Be responsible for creating new documents for the business, in line with our brand guidelines, including recruitment advertising.
  • Ensure all marketing materials consistently follow brand guidelines and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities, through advertising, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct regular competitor analysis (especially in new markets) to inform decisions, providing data to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Work closely with nursery teams to gather stories, content, and success stories that showcase all our settings and their individuality.
  • Be responsible for social media channels, working closely with nurseries to ensure that relevant consent has been obtained.
  • Working with the Admissions Team to drive new enquiries and support the promotion of open days and community initiatives.
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of Central Operations, produce detailed marketing plans for new sites to maximise exposure.
  • Act as a brand champion across the organisation ensuring that brand guidelines are used company-wide, and developed where necessary, monitoring documents to ensure consistency.
  • Support the design of company-wide documents, in line with our brand guidelines.

Digital Marketing

  • Be responsible for ensuring website content remains up to date and engaging.
  • Create and publish appropriate and engaging content (inc. Adverts) across social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
  • Working closely with our external website designer, support SEO activities to improve website visibility and online reach to in turn increase enquiries and occupancy levels across all sites.
  • Monitor website and campaign performance and provide regular reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.

Communications

  • Build strong relationships with all teams across The Support Hub and our Nurseries.
  • Ensure all customer-facing communications are professional, clear, and engaging in line with the company’s tone.
  • Write copy for websites, blogs, social media, promotional materials, and advertising campaigns.
  • Write copy for local media, in the form of press releases.
  • Write copy for internal communications where required.
  • Create and coordinate visual content, in line with our brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels.

There will be other duties and requirements associated with your job and, in addition, as a term of your employment you may be required to undertake various other duties as may reasonably be required.
