MARKETING LEAD - THE FUND

COMPANY: STEVEN.COM

REPORTING TO: CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

LOCATION: LONDON

ABOUT STEVEN.COM FUND

The first fund, Flight Fund, backed the most disruptive founders in consumer and tech: the innovators building products people can't put down, and companies that go on to define their category. It has been incredibly successful, backing category-defining companies such as SpaceX, Groq, Huel, Replit, and Lovable.

Founded by Steven Bartlett, Fund II is the next chapter of Flight Fund, building on its blueprint and its success.

Fund II continues our focused thesis in Series A consumer product and consumer/prosumer tech, with a growth-stage lens for backing the next generation of category-defining companies.

The funds sit within Steven.com, the end-to-end operating system for the creator economy, designed to scale what is irreplaceably human. Steven.com scales creators across Media, Community, and Products, powered by proprietary tech and data and an obsessed team of 150 experts across the UK and US. Founders who join the portfolio get more than capital; they gain mentorship, guidance, and access to the full Steven.com ecosystem and Steven's wider network.

We are currently building Fund II from the ground up - raising capital, hiring, and implementing the operating platform and high-touch investor experience to match our ambition. It is an exciting time to join a small, focused team with the backing and reach of one of the most recognised names in the creator and investment world.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ROLE MISSION

Own the strategy and voice of Fund II across founders and investors alike. You're the architect first, building the fund's profile, creating speaking and visibility opportunities, and standing up the content engine that drives inbound deal flow and investor confidence, then hiring and leading the specialists who bring it to life.

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Define and launch a distinctive brand and narrative that resonates with founders and investors, making the Fund recognisable and respected in its own right.
  • Drive the fund's public profile, securing speaking and platform opportunities and shaping the investor narrative behind the raise.
  • Build a repeatable, social and digital first content engine that turns deals, stories and points of view into genuine inbound deal flow.
  • Hire and lead the marketing function as it grows, distribution, comms and content, setting a high bar for craft, cadence and measurement.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • A senior marketer with a track record building profile for founders and professional audiences alike.
  • A brand builder who's created or reshaped positioning, narrative, tone and identity from the ground up.
  • A systems thinker who builds lasting content engines rather than one off campaigns.
  • A team builder who can hire specialists and raise their level of craft.
  • A cultural fluency in fashion, music, media or startups, and how brands shape culture in those worlds.
  • A community builder with proven results driving engagement and loyalty in professional networks.
