Marketing Lead – Specialist Financial Services Market πŸ“ˆπŸŽ―

Pulse is partnering with a fast-growing technology business serving a major London financial market. Their platform is widely used across the broker and counterparty community and plays a central role in how business is placed and traded.

As the business grows its product suite and doubles down on community and brand, they're looking for a Marketing Lead to build the always-on presence, content, and campaigns that keep the platform front of mind for the market it serves. You'll work closely with senior leadership, who holds the brand strategy, while you own activation day to day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and owning an always-on content and contact strategy, keeping the brand consistently visible across segmented front-office audiences
  • Translating complex products and data releases into clear, compelling client value propositions for every new launch
  • Leading flagship brand moments, from PR to signature events, a handful of times a year
  • Growing community engagement inside the platform's own trading console, alongside CRM-triggered onboarding journeys
  • Owning reach, frequency, and engagement metrics for the front-office audience, working closely with sales and client success on pipeline alignment
  • Running the full marketing mix largely solo to start: content, email/CRM, digital channels, events, and PR

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right β€” and where to focus when applying.

What they're looking for:

  • Strong B2B marketing background; experience in fintech, insurtech, or another regulated or intermediated market is helpful but not essential
  • Track record building and owning a content engine end to end, not just briefing one in
  • Has grown out a community or platform-based audience before, and knows what it takes to keep it engaged
  • A genuine ability to simplify complex, technical, or data-heavy products into propositions a non-technical buyer will act on
  • Comfortable as a jack-of-all-trades in a small, growing marketing function, building the playbook as you go rather than inheriting one
  • Ambition to grow into leading a larger marketing capability over time, as the function expands into CRM, data, and client success support
