CloudNC is transforming global manufacturing with AI that accelerates CAM programming, maximizes factory output, and empowers machinists to deliver more.
Our core product, CAM Assist, speeds up CNC machining by tackling the most time-consuming and repetitive parts of the process, from machining strategy to toolpath generation.
It enables machinists to create effective programs in minutes, unlocking their full potential and helping shops increase throughput and improve consistency.
Today, CAM Assist is trusted by over 1,000 machine shops around the world to enhance their teams’ productivity, resolving skills shortages and helping them to deliver efficiently for their customers.
Founded in 2015, CloudNC consists of a world-class team combining expertise in computer science and physical manufacturing, based in our headquarters in London and our factory in Chelmsford.

The role
CloudNC is successfully developing a leading online social media presence in the machining space, focusing mainly on video (see our Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn channels), that promotes both machining content, as well as our CAM Assist AI solution, which accelerates CAM programming and toolpath generation.

We are seeking to expand these channels further by adding a new Marketing Machinist, who will be one of the public faces presenting our views and products to the world. The role combines enthusiasm and creativity to showcase product capabilities and relevance to the wider world, along with technical know-how and expertise.
Working with the broader marketing team, you will create compelling content, including viral videos, engaging machining content, tutorials, and social media materials, to present CloudNC as machining content experts, while showcasing how our AI software empowers users in manufacturing environments.
To be clear, this is an outward-facing role, as you will be on camera showcasing CloudNC!
Job requirements
- You will be the face of our viral videos, from reacting to situations to creating cool machining content, to presenting videos in our factory and outside
- Stay connected to the latest trends in manufacturing technologies and collaborate with the marketing team for viral content ideas
- Help present our software solutions to the world, including CAM Assist
- Preparing and setting up machines for filming, including tooling and workholding.
Essential:
- Externally facing - able to explain complex concepts to a wide audience on camera
- Connected to trending machining social media content
- Engineering background operating CNC machines (producing metal components)
- Practical knowledge of measuring tools, equipment, and concepts, understanding of the correct tooling for the correct job and the benefits of such practices.
- Solid understanding of machining, able to confidently diagnose production issues.
- Experience of 5-axis Machining, and the production process

Desirable:
- Experience in offline programming would be beneficial
- Siemens NX, Mastercam, and Fusion software experience
- Experience using Siemens or DMG machine tools.
- Experience reading engineering drawings/blueprints
