Marketing Manager - Event Organiser

London Bridge (Office Based 5 days p/w)

£50-55k + Performance Bonus (OTE £70k+)

Are you a commercially-minded marketer ready to take ownership of a multi-brand portfolio, lead a growing team, and play a central role in launching and scaling ambitious new products?

About Our Client

We're recruiting on behalf of one of the fastest-growing B2B media and events businesses in the UK, operating across the logistics, supply chain, automation, transport and sustainability sectors. Their portfolio spans market-leading exhibitions, conferences, awards, publications and research products serving senior decision-makers globally. As the business continues to expand internationally, they're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing across a portfolio of exhibitions, conferences and media brands, including a major new exhibition launch.

The Role

This is not a traditional marketing role. It's a commercial growth role, focused on audience development, delegate acquisition, lead generation, brand building and revenue growth. You'll develop and execute marketing strategy across exhibitions, conferences, publications, webinars and research products, combining strategic thinking with hands-on campaign delivery, and playing a central role in helping the business launch, grow and scale new products and communities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and executing marketing strategy and annual plans across a portfolio of brands, aligned with commercial objectives
  • Building brand positioning, messaging and audience engagement strategies, working closely with sales, content, editorial and leadership teams
  • Growing subscriber, delegate and community databases, and building relationships with industry associations, media partners and influencers
  • Delivering delegate registration targets through acquisition campaigns across email, content, partnerships, social and paid channels
  • Leading marketing strategy for a major new product launch, driving exhibitor engagement, visitor acquisition and brand awareness
  • Growing readership and engagement across an established publication, working closely with editorial teams
  • Leading multi-channel campaigns across email, social, website, digital advertising, partnerships, content, and print/direct marketing
  • Monitoring and reporting on registrations, subscriber growth, engagement, lead generation, campaign ROI and conversion rates
  • Managing and mentoring marketing executives and assistants, setting high standards for quality, pace and accountability
  • Supporting onsite delivery of conferences and exhibitions, including branding, attendee experience and post-event reporting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
