Opportunity Overview

We are seeking to appoint a talented and dynamic individual to come and join us at the University of Salford as a Marketing Manager, working within Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations and supporting the student recruitment goals of our faculties.

This is a key role, in which you will contribute to the development and implementation of both the University and the Faculty strategic aims. You will be responsible for key marketing projects and campaigns to drive student recruitment and strengthen the University’s profile.

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, takes pride in their work and uses data to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, co-ordinate and deliver the marketing outputs, including campaigns, event promotion, content generation
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders within the faculties, working across multiple teams to showcase the benefits and unique aspects of the academic offer
  • Build growth in our student population

About the Department

The Marketing team works closely with colleagues across Admissions, Recruitment, Communications and External Relations to support the core range of activities that promote and engage with the University’s external environment and stakeholders. This role is part of the team that focuses on student recruitment marketing activity, getting the right information to prospective applicants at the right time and showcasing what Salford has to offer. We are a busy department that supports the University’s ambitions for growth, diversity and increased profile.
