Do you love marketing that actually moves the needle? Ready to lead, not just execute? And genuinely excited by international travel opportunities?
About Our Client
Our client runs a portfolio of established B2B exhibitions across multiple regions, each with its own dedicated marketing team. It's a small, fast-moving SME with a collaborative and hard-working culture: minimal red tape, maximum ownership, and a genuinely strong, sociable team that's stuck around for years.
The Opportunity
They're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to take the reins of one of their international portfolios, several established exhibitions spanning sectors including pharmaceuticals, beauty, automotive, and food & beverage, with more in the pipeline. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll guide a team of experienced marketing executives, roll your sleeves up on campaigns yourself, and take real commercial accountability for the results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and directing marketing executives across an international show portfolio, stepping in hands-on where it counts
- Running campaigns yourself, this is an operator's role, not a delegate-only seat
- Driving event attendance and marketing-led sales growth, working closely with the sales team
- Shifting strategy dynamically to maximise attendance and repeat-attendee rates
- Bringing broad, 360-degree marketing experience, digital, print and strategic, to a growing portfolio
- Travelling internationally several times a year to deliver exhibitions in person, with scope for the travel footprint to expand further
What We're Looking For
- A genuine "doer and leader" - someone who can execute marketing tactics personally as well as manage a team
- Agency, digital marketing or SEO experience translates brilliantly into this kind of role
- SME or fast-paced environment experience, you thrive on change, quick pivots, and getting stuck in
- Commercially driven, accountable, and able to point to measurable ROI from your past work
- Genuine comfort with regular international travel, this is a non-negotiable, not a nice-to-have
- Based within a reasonable commute of the office (roughly 40 minutes/40 miles)
