Marketing Manager (Immediate Start)
Full-time · In person · Camden, London, United Kingdom
£42,000–£45,000

About us

Oven or Nothin is an independent Mediterranean fast-food kitchen on Drummond Street, Camden, a few minutes from Euston, UCL and Regent's Place.

We're weeks away from relaunching. New brand, new menu, new packaging, new site — all landing at once. Behind that is a catering push into the offices around us, and expansion plans for more sites across London.

The restaurant is where it starts. It isn't the whole picture.

The job

You'll run marketing. All of it. Not manage an agency, not brief a freelancer and wait a fortnight — do it yourself, with AI tools and whatever subscriptions you need, on us.

Your first job is landing the rollout. Then keeping it moving.

That means building and maintaining the website. SEO, Google Business Profile, Bing and Apple Maps. Google Ads and social ads. Design — menus, packaging artwork, signage and print. Writing everything from Instagram captions to the catering page. Video and content, working with our in-house designer.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll also manage Deliveroo and Uber Eats listings, menu parity and pricing.

Reviews — getting them, replying to them, and telling the founder what they're saying about service and portions, and catering. The offices around us are the biggest opportunity we've got. You'll build the target list, walk in with a sample tray, and turn office managers into weekly accounts.

You'll work directly with the founder. You'll work directly with the founder, taking ownership of the marketing direction, execution and continuous improvement — while bringing your own ideas and perspective to the table.

Who we want

Someone who's used AI to do the work of five people — and can prove it.

Show us the site you built, the campaign you ran, the pack you designed, the content you wrote — and how much of it you did yourself.

Two to five years experience in marketing, ideally in food, hospitality or retail.

You should be hands-on with a website builder or code, SEO tools, Google Ads, Meta, Canva or Figma, and analytics.

This isn't a desk job. You'll be in the shop, on the floor and out in the offices around us.

Quick, curious, and happy to get your hands dirty.

Why

Real ownership, from day one of a relaunch.

Get in now and grow with it — the person who does this well won't be marketing one shop for long.

How to apply

Send a CV, a short note about yourself, and links to work you did yourself.

Then read our Google reviews and give us one page on what you'd do in your first 30 days.

That page matters more than the CV.

Send everything to jobs@ovenornothin.com.
