For our office in Accrington, we are currently recruiting an experienced Marketing Manager who is looking for the opportunity to be part of a larger, global, innovative business operating across the logistics, retail and ecommerce industries. An exciting technology driven organisation, encompassing three brands, World Options, MBE UK and Pack and Send UK and part a wider global organisation Fortidia.
The Role
The Marketing Manager leads multi-channel campaigns that support more than 250 franchise partners. The postholder manages the full lifecycle of product and service campaigns, from strategy through to delivery and performance reporting. The role carries responsibility for a marketing budget of approximately £1 million across the brands. It involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and requires confidence in presenting ideas, findings, and recommendations. Strong people management skills are essential, as the role directs a small team and works with a variety of internal and external partners.
The successful candidate will oversee the full commercial and marketing strategy. This includes excelling at lead generation initiatives with a focus on ROI and executing on key projects, which may include: telemarketing, database provision for high-value or ecom customers, product focus program, or a LTV focus through CRM. With direct reports to manage, this role requires strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Growth Projects: Lead and execute commercially focused marketing initiatives aligned to new customer acquisition, steady customer growth and churn reduction, including telemarketing programmes, high-value and e-commerce database segmentation and provision, product focus campaigns, and LTV-driven CRM activity to improve customer value and retention.
- Digital Strategy and Optimisation: Own and develop the digital marketing roadmap, including website development and optimisation, click and PPC management, SEO strategy and implementation, marketing automation programmes, and AI-driven performance optimisation to enhance lead generation efficiency and measurable ROI.
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy for multi-channel campaigns that align with business goals and brand guidelines.
- Lead Generation Focus: Drive lead generation strategies across digital and direct marketing channels, optimising for low CPL and CPA while enhancing customer acquisition and retention.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of campaigns, delivering assets for both digital platforms and physical franchise stores to maximise reach and impact.
- Budget Ownership: Manage a significant marketing budget, circa £1mil, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve lead generation and sales conversion objectives.
- Franchise Support: Equip franchise partners with tailored campaign assets and training, enabling them to effectively target customer verticals and drive local engagement.
- Performance Measurement: Track and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to refine strategies.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven track record of devising and executing marketing strategies, with a strong focus on product and service campaign rollouts across physical and digital channels.
- Experience in managing large marketing budgets, optimising spend across multiple channels to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Expertise in lead generation, utilising CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, alongside analytics tools like Google Analytics, to nurture leads and enhance sales collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
- Understanding of product and service marketing asset production, delivering campaigns tailored to network-wide solution centres.
- Experience in managing commercial initiatives within the services industry as logistics, is a plus.
- Proficiency in advertising platforms, including Google AdWords and Microsoft Advertising, to execute and optimise PPC campaigns.
- Skilled in office tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for efficient reporting, collaboration, and presentations.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, combined with a creative mindset to interpret data, devise innovative strategies, and ensure campaigns deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to navigate franchise networks and maximise marketing output across diverse markets.
- A commitment to adaptability and continuous learning, staying updated with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of marketing manager experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead on projects.
