Overview
Timera Energy is a specialist energy analytics consultancy serving clients across power, gas, LNG and renewables markets. We combine market-leading analytics with commercial expertise to support investment, strategic and trading decisions for investment funds, large energy companies, utilities, traders and developers.
As Timera grows, we are creating a new Marketing Manager role to own and develop our external engagement engine: how we translate our expertise, products and services into market presence, client engagement and lead flow.
The right person will bring the experience and credibility to help shape Timera’s marketing direction, work closely with service line and product owners, and challenge and align senior stakeholders around a more structured approach to market engagement.
This is a role for someone who can combine fresh thinking with practical execution, helping Timera build a more visible and commercially effective market presence. This is a hybrid role, with two days a week in the office (currently Wednesdays and Thursdays).
The Role
The role is focused on building Timera’s external engagement engine: increasing our visibility, strengthening client mindshare and ensuring our expertise, products and services reach the right audiences in a consistent and commercially engaging way.
It will also own the link between engagement activity and commercial follow-through - aligning marketing activity with BD priorities, tracking campaigns and events through to qualified leads, and helping create clearer CRM discipline and pipeline visibility.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For
- B2B marketing experience: At least 4 years in a B2B marketing or growth role
- Builder mindset & self-starter: able to take business priorities and turn them into practical execution plans with minimal direction - comfortable moving fast, making sensible judgment calls, testing and iterating, and knowing when to ask sharp questions rather than waiting for a detailed brief. Brings genuine curiosity to new tools and ways of working, including AI, rather than waiting for a playbook. Startup or early-stage environment experience a plus.
- Stakeholder management: ability to build an integrated view of marketing efforts across the business – confident influencing and aligning senior stakeholders and comfortable navigating ambiguity to keep activity aligned and moving.
- Digital and marketing competence: hands-on with LinkedIn, content scheduling, CRM platforms and web analytics - and comfortable evaluating and improving the wider marketing technology stack as the function develops.
- Content amplification: proven experience working cross-functionally to take analytical output and ensure it reaches the right audiences through the right channels. Evidence of leading new content formats that improved how material is packaged, presented and received in market is a plus.
- Energy sector experience: B2B marketing experience within the energy sector (particularly power & gas focused) - including in environments such as energy analytics, consultancy, energy investment or energy data and software companies - is required. Curiosity about how energy markets work is also important.
