About Flock

Road accidents kill and injure people, damage vehicles, and cost businesses fortunes. But traditional insurance does nothing to prevent them - it just pays out claims when they happen. At Flock, we're changing that. Using telematics, AI, and real-time data, we proactively help our fleet customers prevent crashes. We obsessively focus on keeping drivers safe, and we put our money where our mouth is - paying out millions of pounds per year to fleets that get safer over time.

We were acquired by Admiral in May 2026. Now we combine the backing of the UK's leading motor insurer with startup energy and speed. We're growing fast with bigger plans than ever, and we're hugely optimistic that our approach will save many more lives in the decade ahead.

We're on a mission to make the world quantifiably safer. Join us!

About the Role

Content and events. Two engines of Flock's marketing, and you own the execution of both.

Today the marketing team is one Senior Marketing Manager, who owns the brand and website, publishes the content, launches the products, and runs up to nine events a year, getting it all out of the door by pushing AI hard. We're doubling the team and backing it with 3.5x the budget.

You're the second person in, owning events and content.

Events. You'll plan the calendar with the Senior Marketing Manager and own delivery: trade shows and conferences, plus our own broker and customer events. On each one you'll set the budget, build the stand, run the day, chase the leads, and report on whether it was worth repeating.

Content. You'll shape the strategy with the Senior Marketing Manager, then produce it. Volume and quality both count. LinkedIn and the Flock blog are the priorities, plus video and website copy. The stories sit with underwriting, distribution, and product, so getting good material out of busy people is a big part of the job.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

AI. Flock runs on AI and we build AI products for customers too. Marketing is held to the same standard. We want you to be the person who brings the newest tool into the office and shows everyone what it does. Brokers and customers still respond to work that feels human, so you'll be someone who writes excellently and still has creative flair.

What you'll be doing

  • Own social media. Run our social strategy, with LinkedIn as the primary channel: product videos, carousels, infographics, and PDF’s, posted consistently and measured for engagement.
  • Create content at volume. Case studies, articles, industry news, thought leadership, and product launch material, several times a month.
  • Make video. Film and produce videos with our team in and around the office: people stories, product walkthroughs, and interviews.
  • Deliver events. Work with the Senior Marketing Manager. Coordinate and execute our calendar of seven to nine events a year: trade shows, conferences, and our own customer and broker events.
  • Design your own assets in Claude Design and Figma, to a standard that holds up next to agency work.
  • Work with AI daily. Draft, edit, repurpose, and scale content with AI tools, applying your own voice and judgement so nothing reads machine-written.

What you'll need

  • Significant content creation and social media experience, ideally in B2B tech, with measurable results from owning and executing a social strategy.
  • A portfolio of work you can share on the spot.
  • Strong copywriting and communication, proven in published work.
  • A track record organizing and coordinating trade shows, conferences, or business events, plus internal events for customers and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on design skills in Figma and Claude Design. Adobe Creative Cloud would be a bonus.
  • Startup pace and ownership: you've worked somewhere small enough to own outcomes end to end, spot what needs improving, and act without waiting for a brief.
  • Confident, critical use of AI across your marketing work.
  • Nice to have: video editing experience, and exposure to insurance, fleet, or telematics.

Making the world quantifiably safer takes more than good data. It takes a team where different perspectives are heard, and that's a priority here. We insure fleets and drivers from every background, and we know a team built the same way makes sharper decisions and a better product for our customers. So we hire on merit, full stop, and we actively encourage applications from everyone. If you don't tick every box, apply anyway. Just come as your genuine self: the qualities and experiences only you bring are exactly what we want.
