We're partnering with an established consumer brand that's looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Leading a team of four, you'll take ownership of the marketing function, shaping strategy, delivering integrated campaigns and working closely with agency partners to drive brand awareness and commercial success.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and is looking to join a well-known consumer brand with an exciting product range.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering the overall marketing strategy for a well-established consumer brand, ensuring activity supports both brand growth and commercial objectives.
This is a digitally focused role, so you'll need a strong understanding of how channels such as paid media, social media, email marketing and digital advertising work together to deliver results. Working alongside specialist agency partners, you'll help plan campaigns, manage budgets, monitor performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll also lead and develop a team of four, providing direction, support and coaching while managing priorities across a busy marketing function.
About You
You'll already be working in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role within a B2C business and be confident leading both people and projects.
You'll also bring:

- Experience managing external marketing or creative agencies.
- Previous experience leading and developing a marketing team.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
