Marketing Manager

Home based | £40,000 per annum | Full-time, permanent | Reporting to the COO

Help us turn empty school spaces into thriving community hubs.

Schools Plus helps schools generate vital additional income by hiring out their facilities to local communities. Sports halls become football venues, dining halls become celebration spaces, and classrooms become places for learning, wellbeing, and connection.

Since 2004, we have generated more than £40 million for schools. Now we are investing in our next decade of growth, with marketing playing a central role in increasing bookings, supporting our partner schools, and raising our profile in local communities.

We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Marketing Manager who can bring ideas, energy, and commercial focus to a growing business with a clear social purpose.

The Role

This is a role for a marketer who wants to make a visible difference. Your mission is simple: generate high-quality leads that convert into bookings and revenue for our partner schools.

You will own our lead generation strategy across digital, physical, and local marketing channels, making sure every campaign is targeted, measurable, and commercially effective. From social media, paid advertising, and SEO, to banners, promotions, PR, local campaigns, and performance reporting, you will shape the activity that helps schools earn more from their spaces.

Online Marketing

  • Generate leads through social media, paid advertising, SEO, and AEO.
  • Own the marketing budget and deliver strong ROI.

Physical Marketing

  • Own and improve our physical marketing, including on-site banners and other local advertising that drives awareness and enquiries.

Promotions

  • Own the promotions calendar.
  • Create, launch, and measure timely, targeted offers that generate enquiries and support site-level sales goals.

Product & Price

  • Lead fresh thinking on our offer, including packages, added services, and price promotions.
  • Bring forward clear, commercial proposals for approval.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
