MARKETING MANAGER / MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

UK — FULLY REMOTE

UP TO £45,000 DOE

Marketing Manager job, remote – UK based, within the travel industry, offering up to £45,000 DOE. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on social media, PR and media relations. Our client is looking for an outgoing and confident marketer who can create engaging social content, spot newsworthy stories and proactively approach journalists, newspapers and other media contacts to generate meaningful coverage

Do you?

  • Do you have a flair for creating engaging content that stops people scrolling, alongside the commercial awareness to ensure your work delivers measurable results?
  • Do you have the energy and persistence to seek out PR opportunities, build a strong media network and keep the brand front of mind with relevant journalists and industry contacts?
  • Are you equally comfortable creating social posts and video content, writing press releases and media pitches, running email campaigns and protecting a brand’s voice across every channel?
  • Do you enjoy taking ownership and making things happen, rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you?

If you're looking for a role where you can shape the voice of a respected leisure travel business while developing your career as the function grows, this could be your ideal next step.

Our Customer

Our client is a respected and growing name within the travel industry, known for its distinctive brand and strong relationships with its customers, partners and wider travel community.

They are now looking for a Marketing Manager who can take ownership of their social media, PR, media relations and email marketing.

A particularly important part of the role will be raising the company’s profile through proactive PR. You will build genuine relationships with journalists, confidently pitch relevant stories and identify creative opportunities to secure coverage across newspapers, magazines, online publications and other suitable media.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to bring your own personality, ideas and contacts, while developing into broader responsibilities as the marketing function grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
