Marketing Manager

We're recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join a growing and innovative business operating within highly technical markets. This Marketing Manager role sits at the heart of the organisation's growth plans, working closely with sales, product and technical teams to create engaging campaigns, generate demand and strengthen customer relationships. It's an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Marketing Manager who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. If you're a results-driven Marketing Manager with strong B2B experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

As Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives, customer needs and target sectors. The role will create compelling content, manage campaign delivery across digital and offline channels, and continually optimise activity to improve performance and results. A key focus will be driving demand generation through content marketing, email campaigns, exhibitions, events and targeted outreach. Working closely with sales teams, the position will ensure marketing activity supports pipeline growth, strengthens customer engagement and contributes to wider commercial objectives. The successful candidate will take ownership of key digital marketing channels, including website performance, SEO, paid media, CRM platforms and marketing automation tools. Responsibilities will include building effective customer journeys, enhancing lead nurturing processes and using data and insight to measure and improve marketing performance. In addition, the role will lead the planning and coordination of industry events and exhibitions, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maximise engagement, generate commercial opportunities and strengthen the organisation's presence across priority markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
