MARKETING MANAGER – CONSUMER BRANDS & RETAIL

· West Yorkshire | Huddersfield
· Salary up to c£65,000 plus Bonuses & Package

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on Marketing Manager to join a fast-growing, owner-led consumer products business with a diverse brand portfolio and ambitious plans for the future.

Leading an established in-house team across graphic design, photography and image editing, copywriting and graduate marketing, you will bring creative direction, structure and energy to a broad marketing agenda spanning retail, trade and a rapidly growing DTC channel.

This is a particularly visual, product-led role. You will take responsibility for directing creative briefs and ensuring photography, design, content and campaign assets are visually strong, commercially effective and consistent with each brand’s identity.

The remit will include:

  • Providing visual and creative direction across multiple consumer brands
  • Planning, producing and launching integrated campaigns across all marketing channels
  • Maintaining a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across multiple sub-brands
  • Assessing creative quality, brand alignment and the conversion potential of visual assets
  • Leading photography, content, design, copy and wider campaign development
  • Supporting major retail customers, trade partners and commercial collaborations
  • Developing DTC, eCommerce, digital and social activity
  • Managing PR, press, influencer partnerships, exhibitions and product launches
  • Creating effective briefs for agencies and external creative partners
  • Coaching, directing and developing an established in-house team
  • Remaining close to daily priorities, workflows and project delivery

We are looking for someone with experience in consumer products or lifestyle retail, ideally from homewares, interiors, fashion or another visually led consumer category.

Direct experience of visual direction is essential. You should be comfortable judging creative work, giving clear and constructive feedback, protecting brand standards and ensuring campaigns are designed to engage customers and drive conversion.

Most importantly, you will have the personality, confidence and energy to lead from the front. You will be able to inspire and develop others while remaining happy to get involved personally and manage the detail when required.
