PlayBrave Performance Clothing
PlayBrave is a premium Performance Clothing brand for racket sports — Tennis, Padel, Real Tennis, Rackets and Squash. We are relaunching this autumn with a new range, a new website and a new message, and we are looking for the person who will execute it.
We do not create clothing for people who occasionally pick up a racket. We create it for the dedicated player — the one who trains before work, takes lessons to fix things, not just to learn them, and treats their hours on court as the best part of the week. Our idea is simple: the courage to improve.
This is the third permanent seat in the business and the senior operational seat below the two senior executives. You will own things rather than assist with them.
The Role
The relaunch is well advanced. The range is designed and priced, the new website is being built, our fulfilment centre is ready and the launch plan is written. What it needs now is one person responsible for turning that into a working marketing operation — running the campaigns, building the ambassador network, keeping our freelancers moving, and making sure nothing waits on two busy executives.
It is part marketing execution, part project management, part operations. Creative input is welcome — we would rather have someone with ideas than someone waiting for a brief — but the role is measured on what gets done, not what gets proposed.
What You Will Own
- The relaunch programme. Hold the launch plan, chase the dependencies, run a short weekly check-in with the senior team, and tell us early when something is slipping.
- Email. Our email list is our most valuable channel and our warmest audience. You will own the campaign and content calendar in Klaviyo, brief and schedule the sends, and keep the segmentation honest — working with our technical freelancer, who builds what you specify.
- Paid social and paid search. You will not be running the ad accounts yourself. You will manage the external specialist who does, hold them to a plan and an agreed budget, and judge whether the spend is working.
- Social publishing and community. You are not required to be the face of the brand — we have paid creators for that. You are the person who plans the calendar, publishes, replies, and keeps the standard high.
- The Ambassador Programme. Recruit and onboard coaches and club players, run the affiliate platform, send seeding shipments, track what each ambassador is producing, and make sure commissions are paid accurately and on time.
- Creators and freelancers. Brief our paid creators, collect and file the content they deliver, keep the asset library in order, and manage the approval cycle so it does not stall on someone's desk.
- Website and product operations. Product uploads, descriptions, imagery, collections and site housekeeping in Shopify. Liaison with fulfilment on stock, dispatch and customer service.
- Events. Occasional club days, trade moments and launch evenings. You will organise them.
- Reporting. A short monthly pack: sales, email performance, paid media, ambassador activity, and what it is telling us.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Your First Ninety Days
- Learn the range, the pricing structure and the brand voice well enough to write in it.
- Take the launch plan off the Chairman's desk and run it.
- Get the ambassador platform live and the first cohort of coaches onboarded.
- Build the email and content calendar, and take a full month of campaigns from plan to sent.
- Get our paid media specialist briefed and the first campaigns live.
Who You Are
- Organised, and calm about it. You hold the plan, you keep people to it without friction, and things do not need asking twice.
- A good writer. You can draft an email or a product description that sounds like a person who plays, not like marketing copy.
- Commercially grounded. You understand what marketing costs, where it sits in the business's numbers, and whether a given pound is earning its place. You will tell us when something is not working.
- Experienced with the platforms. Hands-on experience of an e-commerce platform and an email marketing platform is a requirement — Shopify and Klaviyo ideally, or equivalents. You use AI tools fluently to multiply your own output.
- Two to five years of experience. Likely from a small brand, an agency, or a marketing or operations role where you were the person who made things happen.
- Comfortable organising events. Not as a specialism, but you have run something with a date, a venue and people turning up.
- Interested in sport. You do not need to play at a high level or at all. You do need to be curious about the people we serve and willing to spend time at clubs, tournaments and the places our players already are.

Who This Is Not For
This is a small business and the role is deliberately broad. Some weeks you will be shaping a campaign; others you will be writing subject lines and packing an ambassador shipment. You will work closely and flexibly with the two senior executives, and priorities will move. If you want a single specialism and a clear lane to stay in, this is not the job. If you want scope and ownership, few roles at this level offer more.
