Marketing Manager – Higher Education SaaS
£50,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Build the Demand Generation Engine for a Market-Leading SaaS Business
This isn't a traditional Marketing role. There are no brand guidelines to manage, no PR campaigns to coordinate and no corporate communications to oversee. Instead, you'll take ownership of one of the most important commercial objectives in the business - designing and building a scalable demand generation engine that delivers a predictable pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Joining a global market leader in the EdTech sector, you'll help shape the next phase of growth for a business whose software is already trusted by over half of UK universities. This is a brand-new role with genuine autonomy, giving you the opportunity to define strategy, implement best practice and make a measurable commercial impact. There will be opportunities to progress to Marketing Director in the longer term.
The Role
Working closely with the commercial leadership team, you'll develop and execute demand generation campaigns that engage senior decision makers across Higher and Further Education. You'll combine digital marketing, marketing automation, content marketing and account-based marketing to generate high-quality leads and nurture prospects through the buying journey. This is a highly commercial role where success is measured by pipeline created, opportunity generation and revenue contribution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
