About the Organisation
We’re working with an established business looking to strengthen its marketing approach as it continues to develop and grow.
They’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to take ownership of the marketing function, working closely with the senior leadership team to shape the strategy while remaining hands-on with its delivery.
The Role
This is a broad, autonomous Marketing Manager role combining strategy with hands-on delivery across digital, content, campaigns, brand, events, and customer engagement.
You’ll have the freedom to identify opportunities, recommend new approaches, and use customer and campaign data to inform where marketing investment will have the greatest impact.
Alongside the strategic element, you’ll remain close to delivery – managing campaigns, content, digital channels, budgets, and external suppliers. It’s an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded marketer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and having genuine ownership of the full marketing mix.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and deliver the overall marketing strategy and annual marketing plan
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across online and offline channels
- Manage paid digital activity across all platforms including Meta and Google
- Own email marketing, including campaign planning, segmentation, retention, and re-engagement activity
- Manage organic social media and the wider content calendar
- Create and coordinate written, photographic, and video content across multiple channels
- Maintain a consistent brand identity, messaging, and tone of voice
- Manage website content, SEO, and the wider online presence
- Use analytics, customer insight, and campaign performance to continually optimise activity
- Support the promotion of events, seasonal campaigns, and key trading periods
- Work closely with senior management and wider teams to understand commercial priorities and translate them into effective marketing activity
- Manage external agencies, suppliers, and specialist support where required
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
