*occasional Saturdays to support student events may be required with TOIL
Reports to: Head of Sales & Marketing
Salary: £40,000-45,000 plus pension contributions, company bonus

Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will lead the day-to-day planning and delivery of marketing across the Aeros group. This is a broad marketing role combining digital marketing, campaign management, brand, content, events, PR and website management. The core purpose is to deliver quality leads, support enrolment and develop our brand across our key audiences of future students, parents/funders and airlines. The Marketing Manager will bring strong marketing expertise into the business and be equally comfortable developing campaigns, interrogating performance data, managing agencies and getting directly involved in hands-on delivery. Managing our Marketing Assistant, the role will also work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing, Sales, Student & Graduate Services, Operations and senior leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Lead Aeros’ digital marketing activity across paid and organic channels.
- Manage and optimise PPC campaigns, working with our digital agency where appropriate.
- Take ownership of Meta advertising, including campaign set-up, targeting, creative testing, optimisation and reporting.
- Work with the agency on SEO strategy and ensure recommendations are implemented effectively.
- Monitor website traffic, conversions, campaign performance and cost of acquisition.
- Use Google Analytics and other reporting tools to turn marketing data into clear actions.
- Continually improve the journey from marketing activity through to lead generation and enrolment.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital performance across our different training products and audiences.
Website & SEO
- Take day-to-day ownership of the Aeros website and its marketing performance.
- Manage website content, landing pages and updates.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practice.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners on ongoing website development.
- Monitor search performance and identify opportunities to improve organic visibility.
- Ensure website content remains accurate, relevant and aligned with current Aeros products and messaging.

Campaigns & Lead Generation
- Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns designed to generate high-quality enquiries for Aeros.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand lead quality, conversion and pipeline requirements.
- Support campaigns across our Fast-Track and Flexi-Track professional training pathways, individual courses and other areas of the business.
- Develop targeted campaigns around academy tours, events, graduate outcomes, airline relationships and key recruitment periods.
- Ensure marketing activity is commercially focused and measurable.
Content & Social Media
- Manage the Marketing Assistant, who is responsible for much of Aeros’ day-to-day social content, blogs, ad hoc marketing projects and event support.
- Take responsibility for the overall content plan and ensure activity supports wider marketing and commercial objectives.
- Maintain a consistent and professional Aeros tone of voice.
- Identify strong stories from across the business, including student milestones, graduate careers, fleet developments, partnerships and airline relationships.
- Ensure content is planned, purposeful and appropriate for each channel rather than simply produced for volume.
Events
- Lead the marketing planning and delivery for Aeros events.
- Manage Aeros’ presence at key industry events, including Pilot Careers Live.
- Support academy tours, school and careers events, fly-ins and other recruitment activities.
- Coordinate event messaging, collateral, signage, lead capture and follow-up requirements.
- Work with Sales and operational teams to ensure events deliver measurable outcomes.
- Attend events where required, including occasional weekends.
PR & Communications
- Identify and develop PR opportunities across Aeros.
- Manage relationships with external PR support where required.
- Draft and coordinate press releases, announcements and company communications.
- Support communications around fleet investment, partnerships, airline relationships, graduate success and company developments.
- Help protect and strengthen Aeros’ reputation through clear, accurate and professional communications.
Brand Management
- Act as a day-to-day guardian of the Aeros brand.
- Ensure consistent use of brand identity, messaging and tone across all marketing channels.
- Manage the production of brochures, advertising, signage, event collateral and other marketing materials.
- Support the continued development and implementation of the Aeros brand.
Team & Agency Management
- Manage, support and develop the Marketing Assistant.
- Set clear priorities, deadlines and expectations.
- Manage marketing agencies and external suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure external partners are delivering against agreed objectives, budgets and KPIs.
- Build effective relationships across Aeros to ensure marketing activity reflects operational priorities and opportunities.

Reporting & Performance
- Produce clear regular reporting on marketing performance.
- Track key measures including leads, conversion, website performance, PPC and Meta results, SEO visibility and cost of acquisition.
- Use data to recommend where marketing investment should be increased, reduced or redirected.
- Manage activity within agreed marketing budgets.
- Maintain a strong focus on return on investment rather than vanity metrics.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or similar senior marketing role, with strong hands-on digital marketing experience, including Meta campaigns.
- Experience managing and optimising paid digital activity, with an understanding of PPC, campaign performance and lead generation.
- Experience using CMS, CRM and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret marketing data and turn insight into clear actions.
- Experience managing agencies and external suppliers against agreed objectives, budgets and KPIs.
- Experience managing, supporting or developing others within a marketing team.
- Excellent communication skills - written, spoken and interpersonal.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A self-starter with a growth mindset who takes initiative, follows through and remains comfortable with hands-on delivery.
- Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels across the business and translating commercial priorities into marketing activity.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- A genuine interest in aviation and people, with enthusiasm for developing knowledge of the flight training sector.
- Previous experience within aviation, flight training, education, training or another lead-generation focused sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Experience in customer-facing roles or working closely with sales/customer service teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SharePoint, with a willingness to develop these skills further.
