Overview

At Sisk, we’re more than a construction company, we’re a family-owned business with a global reach, committed to building excellence in every project. We deliver trust, certainty, and value to our clients while embracing innovation and shaping the future of construction.

Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Affairs, Marketing & Client Engagement, the Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering an integrated marketing strategy that strengthens Sisk's market position, enhances client relationships, supports business growth, and reinforces the organisation's reputation across Ireland, the UK, and selected international markets.

The role acts as the strategic link between Corporate Affairs, Client Engagement, Recruitment, Communications, Business Development, and Operational Leadership, ensuring marketing activity supports organisational priorities, client engagement objectives, workforce needs, and long-term business growth.

The Marketing Manager provides leadership across brand management, strategic communications, client engagement initiatives, employer brand activity, market positioning, digital channels, and campaign performance, ensuring all activity is aligned to business objectives and delivers measurable value.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Business Alignment

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, market priorities, and growth plans.
  • Assess proposed marketing initiatives against strategic priorities, client relationship objectives, available budget, reputational considerations, and anticipated business value.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen market positioning across target sectors, regions, and service lines.
  • Translate business priorities into integrated marketing programmes that support client acquisition, retention, growth, and talent attraction.

Brand, Reputation & Corporate Communications

  • Protect and strengthen the Sisk brand across all internal and external communications.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity, and brand standards across all channels and stakeholder groups.
  • Work closely with Corporate Affairs and Communications teams to support corporate reputation, thought leadership, and strategic communication initiatives.
  • Manage agency partners, creative suppliers, and specialist consultants to deliver high-quality outputs aligned to organisational standards.

Client Engagement & Market Positioning

  • Partner with Client Affairs, Business Development, and operational leaders to develop client engagement campaigns that support relationship growth and market opportunities.
  • Develop sector-focused marketing initiatives that showcase organisational capability, project delivery excellence, innovation, and sustainability credentials.
  • Support strategic client events, industry engagement activity, and sponsorship programmes from a marketing and communications perspective.
  • Create targeted campaigns and content that enhance client experience and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
