Marketing Manager
Coleraine Football Club are seeking an ambitious and innovative Marketing Manager to lead the planning and delivery of marketing activity across the club, turning the Club’s brand, stories, and relationships into measurable growth. The role will connect a number of areas to increase revenue, engagement, and participation for Coleraine FC.
This is a hands-on, results-led position. The postholder will develop creative campaigns, deliver contractual activations and commitments for partners, protect and strengthen the Coleraine FC brand, and drive strong supporter-facing content.

Job Description: Marketing Manager
Department: Marketing – Reporting to CEO
Key Contacts:
- Internal: CEO, Media Staff, Head of Business & Community, Marketing Consultant, Head of Community Football.
Location/Requirement: Based at The Showgrounds with travel to meetings, and ability to be available on matchdays.
Hours/Remuneration: Full time. Due to the nature of the post, evening and weekend work will be required based around the club’s fixtures. Remuneration commensurate with skills and experience. Salary – Competitive.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Increase match attendance and ticket revenue through targeted, data-informed campaigns.
- Grow retail sales by delivering effective product launches, seasonal campaigns, and always-on promotion.
- Deliver partner rights and activations to a consistently high standard, supported by clear evidence and reporting.
- Generate qualified commercial leads and provide compelling marketing support for sponsorship, hospitality, and events.
- Increase the reach, quality, and engagement of the Club’s media channels while improving conversion from audience to action.
- Build a stronger, more consistent, and inclusive Club brand across men’s, women’s, academy, community, and supporter activity.
- Develop and manage an annual marketing plan and campaign calendar aligned to the Club’s football, financial, commercial, and community objectives.
- Use ticketing, retail, website, email, social media, and supporter insight to segment audiences, test approaches, and improve results.
- Maintain a live performance dashboard and provide concise monthly reporting on activity, outcomes, learning, and next actions.
- Own the marketing plan for season tickets, memberships, individual fixtures, cup ties, European matches, hospitality, and selected Club events.
- Create fixture-specific campaigns that reflect opponent, timing, availability, supporter segment, and sales position, with appropriate urgency and offers.
- Work closely with ticketing and operations colleagues to improve the supporter purchase journey, pre-match information, matchday communications, and post-match follow-up.
- Plan and deliver marketing for kit launches, training wear, leisurewear, gifts, limited editions, and seasonal retail moments.
- Coordinate product photography, creative assets, launch schedules, email, social media, website content, and in-stadium promotion.
- Use sales and stock insight to focus promotion, support sell-through, and reduce avoidable end-of-season stock exposure.
- Work with retail colleagues to improve online and physical store presentation, customer journeys, and supporter communications.
- Translate signed partner agreements into clear activation plans, delivery schedules, and internal responsibilities.
- Deliver all agreed marketing commitments accurately and on time, including digital content, branding, events, campaigns, hospitality support, and player or staff appearances where applicable.
- Develop creative, mutually valuable activations that connect partners with supporters, community programmes, and Club audiences.
- Maintain an auditable partner-delivery tracker, capture proof of performance, and contribute to high-quality review and renewal reports.
- Support the commercial team with sales materials, campaign concepts, audience data, case studies, and lead-generation activity for sponsorship, hospitality, and events.
- Oversee and support media colleagues and contributors to create an integrated content plan serving football, supporter, brand, and commercial priorities.
- Ensure Club channels consistently include purposeful calls to action and clear routes to ticketing, retail, hospitality, membership, and participation.
- Maintain appropriate approval, safeguarding, copyright, and data-protection standards across marketing activity.
- Develop and uphold practical brand guidelines covering identity, tone of voice, imagery, templates, and partner use of Club assets.
- Protect the integrity and reputation of Coleraine FC while finding fresh, authentic ways to tell the Club’s story, heritage, ambition, and community impact.
- Ensure the men’s first team, women’s and girls’ football, academy, community, social club, and other Club functions are represented within a coordinated marketing plan.
- Gather supporter feedback and audience insight, using it to improve communications, campaigns, access, and participation.
