Role Description
The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing and lead generation strategy across the Birch Faraday platform and its portfolio companies. As the first dedicated marketing hire, you will build a scalable marketing function that supports the Group’s growth and commercial objectives.
Working closely with the Founder/CEO, you will develop strategies to generate new business, strengthen market positioning and build credibility across sectors including supported living, domiciliary care, construction and housing. You will also build the Group’s marketing infrastructure, including CRM, campaign tracking and reporting, while identifying cross-selling opportunities across the portfolio.

The role will support deal origination and investor activity through targeted campaigns and high-quality materials, alongside developing thought leadership, case studies and digital content to strengthen Birch Faraday’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Marketing: Lead marketing and lead generation across all portfolio companies, driving brand credibility, new business and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Group Marketing Function: Build and manage a centralised marketing function, including CRM, campaign tracking, reporting, processes and shared resources across the Group.
- Deal Origination: Support acquisition activity through targeted inbound and outbound campaigns, strengthening Birch Faraday’s position as a credible buyer.
- Brand & Positioning: Develop and maintain clear, consistent positioning for Birch Faraday and each portfolio company across all marketing and communications.
- Investor Relations: Support the development of investor materials, case studies, performance updates and communications that reflect the Group’s growth and ambitions.
- Talent Attraction: Develop the Group’s employer brand and support the attraction of high-quality investment and operational talent.
- Content & Thought Leadership: Lead content, case studies, sector insights and digital channels, including LinkedIn, to strengthen the Group’s reputation and market credibility.

Candidate profile
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, growth or commercial roles.
- Understand how marketing drives revenue and business growth.
- Have experience developing and delivering lead generation strategies.
- Be comfortable working across multiple businesses.
- Ideally have experience in healthcare, care, construction, property, B2B services or private equity-backed businesses.
