Citrus Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a software company in Cardiff, to recruit for an experienced Marketing Manager for a Fixed Term Contract.
The Marketing Manager is a hands-on, stand-alone role where you will be delivering the marketing strategy including managing the website, social media, email campaigns and working alongside the sales team to generate and qualify leads.
This is a commercial driven role, where you will work closely with the Senior Leadership and Sales team, to drive business growth. We’re looking for someone who is forward thinking and can bring ideas to the table.
This is a hybrid role, in Cardiff 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will come from a Software/ SaaS background.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:
- Manage HubSpot, ensuring campaigns, activity and performance metrics are accurately tracked
- Produce engaging copy for blogs, websites and social channels to support brand awareness and inbound activity
- Plan, launch and analyse multi‑channel campaigns focused on client retention, upselling and new product introductions
- Lead targeted activity aimed at high‑value prospects within the ideal customer profile
- Oversee internal communications, keeping teams informed on key updates, events and product developments
- Ensure brand consistency across all external collateral, ensuring messaging and visuals align with guidelines
- Maintain and update the company website, ensuring content is relevant, accurate and optimised
- Qualify inbound leads to marketing‑ready status and hand over effectively to the business development team
- Work with external agencies to support overall marketing campaigns

Skills & experience required.
- Experience in a similar Marketing Manager role, ideally within software/ SaaS
- Hands on experience in a stand-alone marketing role
- Experienced using Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress Admin, Adobe and similar platforms
