THE ROLE
An office-based role responsible for leading our marketing efforts to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing and Communications
- Take full ownership of the content creation of all corporate company literature (Website, Catalogue, Case Studies, Press, Blogs, and Articles)
- Support all internal and external customer marketing communications activities
- Attract and funnel inbound leads generated from various in-house campaigns on platforms like MailChimp and LinkedIn to the external sales team
- Support and attend exhibitions, conferences, client meetings, and Electrical industry awards where required
- Plan, produce, and publish monthly company newsletter (LinkedIn and email)
- Prepare monthly marketing departmental reports and attend the monthly management meetings
- Create and deliver the company’s marketing and communications plan, to agreed time and budget constraints
- Review all content created in-house before publishing for clarity, grammar, accuracy, and quality
Design and Creative Content
- Create content in various formats (written, video, and audio) that showcases our projects, people, news, product launches, innovation, manufacturing capability, and engineering expertise
- Create professional marketing materials, graphics, and artwork using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including flyers, brochures, product catalogues, print advertisements, presentations, event and exhibition materials, joint customer campaigns, and other customer-facing content that drives sales and enquiries
- Manage the company brand in line with agreed brand guidelines and ensure all marketing materials reflect the key messaging and support the brand values
- Maintain design templates and brand consistency across the company

Website Management and Technical Tasks
- Manage and optimise the customer web experience, speed, and SEO/AI SEO performance of the CHINT Shield website on WordPress
- Keep the website updated with new articles, case studies, and company information when required
- Manage and organise a large library of photography, graphics, and marketing assets
- Collaborate with external website partners and agencies for significant website projects
Digital Marketing and Social Media
- Plan and oversee multi-channel campaigns (digital, email, social media, content, events, etc.)
- Drive and monitor the engagement and growth of the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram) and identify opportunities to increase the reach and effectiveness of the content
- Produce and maintain a consistent social media content calendar that showcases a breadth of content angles, including company updates, product launches, technical content, case studies, and the UK electrical community
- Supporting New Product Development (NPD) by developing and executing time-sensitive go-to-market plans for new product launches
- Build companion, one-off landing pages on Mailchimp to capture leads and to support sales campaigns when required
Qualifications & Experience
- A professional marketing qualification (CIM / Diploma) or a Marketing Degree / Business Studies degree (if it includes Marketing theory)
- Competent with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator)
- Comfortable using a range of marketing and design tools, including MailChimp, Canva, and LLM AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
- Experienced with developing and executing multi-channel marketing and GTM strategies

You would be:
- A self-starter, confident, organised, creative, and curious
- Comfortable with working in a cross-functional role (collaborating with product, technical sales, and support)
- IT literate and proficient in software including Adobe Creative Cloud, macOS, and Microsoft Office, as well as Apple Mac hardware
- Able to understand technical information and clearly communicate it to a non-technical audience
- Able to manage several priorities and deadlines simultaneously without compromising in quality
- Able to have a positive, proactive approach with suggesting fresh ideas and methods
Desirable (but not essential)
- Facilitate and manage 3rd party service provisions, such as Luckins, CPD’s, etc.
- Previous Marketing experience in a technical B2B environment would be highly beneficial
- Experience with organising or running in-person events
- Experience within electrical engineering and manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or another technical B2B environment would be advantageous
