Help drive the future of funded retrofit and energy efficiency
At Next Energy, we're helping households across the UK access warmer, more energy-efficient homes through government-backed retrofit and renewable energy programmes. As our Marketing Manager for the Grant Funded business, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we engage residents, local authorities, housing providers and strategic partners, helping deliver meaningful improvements for communities while supporting the UK's Net Zero ambitions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to lead strategic campaigns, strengthen partner engagement and build awareness of funded energy efficiency schemes across a rapidly growing and highly impactful sector.
About Next Energy
Next Energy is a specialist provider of domestic energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements, delivering funded retrofit programmes across the UK. Working across government-backed schemes, including Warm Homes programmes and other local authority and housing-led initiatives, we help households reduce fuel poverty, improve comfort and lower energy consumption.
As part of DCC Energy GB, we combine the strength and stability of a leading energy group with specialist retrofit expertise, local knowledge and a customer-focused approach.
The Role
Reporting into the leadership team, you'll develop and deliver marketing activity for Next Energy's Grant Funded business, supporting growth across domestic retrofit, energy efficiency and renewable energy programmes. You'll work closely with programme leads, sales, operations, partnerships, compliance and the wider marketing team to create engaging campaigns that generate demand, support contract growth and strengthen Next Energy's position as a trusted delivery partner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
