Company Description

Based in Bury St Edmunds, Maxima Opus Ltd provides technology leadership (Fractional CTO), cloud and cyber security expertise to small and medium-sized businesses across the United Kingdom.

We help organisations, particularly those in regulated or security-sensitive industries, reduce risk, modernise their systems, and make informed technology decisions.

Role Description

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of marketing initiatives that support Maxima Opus’s growth in cloud, cyber security, and Fractional CTO consulting services.

This part-time, remote role involves planning and delivering digital marketing campaigns, managing the company’s online presence, and creating targeted content for website, social media, email, and thought leadership channels.

  • Market and competitor research
  • Campaign performance tracking and reporting
  • Coordinating with leadership and technical teams on messaging
  • Maintaining a consistent brand voice

The Marketing Manager will also identify opportunities for partnerships, events, and awards, and optimise marketing activities to reach decision makers in small and medium-sized businesses across the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

  • Strong marketing strategy and planning skills, including experience developing campaigns for B2B technology or professional services.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels such as SEO, social media, email marketing, and website analytics.
  • Content creation skills, including writing and editing for web, blogs, case studies, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Experience with brand management, positioning, and consistent messaging across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to conduct market and competitor research and translate insights into actionable marketing plans.
  • Comfort working remotely, managing priorities independently, and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Experience in cloud, cyber security, or technology consulting markets is highly beneficial (but not essential).
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and CRM or marketing automation platforms is an advantage.
