By Dr Vali is looking to add a Marketing/Communications Manager at an exciting stage in its life with the flagship 360 Experiential Center in Selfridges followed by the launch of the “By Dr Vali” skincare & skin-tech range. The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and driving the marketing strategy and implementing trade and brand and product activations. The role will report to Directors

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the full marketing strategy for the BDV 360 Experiential Centre, skin technology devices, and skincare range across all relevant markets.
  • Define, shape, and implement the 360 end to end marketing strategy across media, in store, ecommerce, PPC, social, affiliate, trade, email, and influencer marketing in line with brand objectives.
  • Manage the marketing calendar in all aspects, including new product launches, social media activations, brand events, visual merchandising, and 360 campaign plans.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive growth, brand awareness, and new client acquisition across all channels.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation across all pillars of the business. Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practice in marketing, and integrate relevant trends into the BDV strategy.
  • Lead social media strategy across all platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Plan, write, and deliver email marketing campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo, including newsletters, product launches, and client retention programmes, and analyse performance to improve open rates, click rates, and revenue.
  • Manage the BDV podcast and Dr. Vali's guest appearances, including identifying and securing podcast opportunities, preparing guest briefs and research, coordinating recording schedules, and repurposing episodes into social, email, and website content.
  • Create and maintain website content, including product pages, launch updates, landing pages, and educational articles, working with the website team to keep all content accurate, on brand, and optimised for search.
  • Direct the production of all brand copy, including social captions, website copy, email campaigns, podcast scripts, and press materials. Ensure all content meets platform compliance requirements and BDV brand standards at the point of publication.
  • Use data and performance metrics to continuously improve communications effectiveness and audience growth. Optimise content for SEO and PPC to drive revenue, and use analytics platforms to track website traffic and user engagement.
  • Own the influencer strategy across seeding, gifting, ambassador, and user generated content programmes, and contribute to press and influencer marketing campaign strategies.
  • Lead the identification, outreach, and management of brand partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
  • Support relationships with influencers, talent agents, and press to keep the brand front of mind through organic coverage and social mentions that meet business objectives.
  • Build and nurture the BDV community across digital and in person channels.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of brand events, including press days, product launches, and experiential activations. Provide hands on support for press and client events, VIP gifting, and mass seeding programmes.
  • Lead press and media relations strategy, securing high quality coverage in target publications across luxury, beauty, health, and lifestyle.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, brand statements, editorial pitches, and media briefing materials.
  • Build and sustain senior relationships with editors, journalists, talent agents, and media partners.
  • Manage crisis communications and act as the primary point of contact for sensitive media enquiries.

  • Three to five years of experience planning and executing marketing and communications campaigns, ideally within a luxury, fashion, beauty, or wellness brand.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, email, and influencer channels, knowing what works and what does not.
  • Strong ecommerce, performance marketing, and influencer marketing experience.
  • An established network of media, influencer, and talent agent contacts across luxury, beauty, and lifestyle.
  • Experience planning and delivering brand events, press days, and product launches.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, PPC, and website analytics, including GA4.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Appetite for a founder led, high growth environment, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a team player attitude.
  • Ability to thrive at pace and manage multiple priorities effectively on a global scale.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills, with basic creative skills in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Experience with Magento, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Awin, and Meta is an advantage.
  • Strong project management capability, with meticulous attention to detail in the creation of briefs, plans, reports, and schedules.
