FTC (9-12 months maternity cover)
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic brand marketer to lead the day-to-day delivery of agreed plans across the Dale Farm, Dromona and Mullin's portfolios during a nine-month maternity cover. This is a hands-on management role with a broad remit. You will join a capable team with defined brand plans and established ways of working. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will manage the Brand Marketing team. Your focus will be continuity and high-quality execution, keeping activity on track, supporting the team and taking decisions within the agreed strategy and budgets.
What you will be responsible for
Brand plans and portfolio delivery
- Lead implementation of the agreed FY2027 and FY2028 brand plans across Dromona, Dale Farm and Mullin's, prioritising activity into clear workstreams, owners, milestones and measures.
- Working with Brand Managers, coordinate the end-to-end development and implementation of consumer, trade and retailer-facing campaigns, from brief and creative development through production, media planning and buying, launch and evaluation.
- Oversee digital and shopper activity within the agreed brand plans, to deliver activation across paid, owned, earned and retail channels.
Brand communications and PR
- Oversee internal and external brand communications and PR.
- Review and approve campaign assets and messaging, maintaining brand consistency across touchpoints.
Budgets performance and reporting
- Plan, maintain and control brand marketing budgets.
- Monitor campaign and brand performance through regular reporting Vs KPIs.
- Lead post-campaign evaluation and turn results into clear recommendations.
Product improvement project management
- Project-manage agreed product improvement and reformulation initiatives, coordinating Marketing, Innovation and NPD, Technical, Commercial, Finance, Operations and external partners.
- Support concept development and testing.
- Coordinate artwork development and approval, project timing and launch readiness, including contribution to P&L and business-case assessment with Finance and Commercial colleagues.
- Create and implement launch support plans that connect brand communications, media, PR, digital, shopper and customer activation.

Packaging project management
- Lead agreed packaging projects, including changes to substrates or pack formats, design updates and the end-to-end artwork process.
- Coordinate packaging updates required to support compliance with the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), including the business preparation required ahead of 2028 milestones.
Agency and partnership management
- Responsible for overall agency relationships for creative, media, PR, digital etc.
- Manage brand sponsorships and partnerships through activation, delivery and evaluation.
Team leadership and stakeholder management
- Provide steady, visible management for the Brand Marketing team, setting clear priorities, balancing workloads and maintaining established roles, autonomy and ways of working.
- Uphold established ways of working for the Brand Marketing team, including planning meetings, review points, approvals and decision-making boundaries
- Represent Brand Marketing in relevant cross-functional and commercial forums, giving stakeholders clear updates, decisions, risks and actions.
- Maintain an accurate handover record covering priorities, budgets, decisions, project status, risks and next steps for the returning Marketing Manager.
This role will suit a practical, commercially minded marketing leader who enjoys turning strategy into disciplined, visible delivery and can provide continuity during a defined period of cover.

What you will bring
- 5 years + of brand marketing experience in a commercially focused organisation, with evidence of taking established plans through to effective execution.
- Experience in FMCG, food or drink, retail or another fast-paced customer-led environment.
- Experience managing integrated campaigns across creative development, communications or PR, media, digital and shopper or customer activation.
- Strong budget-management discipline.
- Experience leading product reformulation or packaging change projects through cross-functional teams and formal approval processes.
- Experience of packaging artwork, substrate or format changes, trademarking, intellectual property and packaging regulation.
- Confident agency and stakeholder management.
- People-management experience, including prioritisation, delegation, coaching and performance management.
- Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines without losing attention to detail.
