Marketing Manager

Location: Colchester, Essex (Office-based 3 days per week, with 2 days flexible/home working)

Reporting in to – Head of Sales & Marketing

Salary: £45 – 50K

We're looking for an experienced and creative Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy, partner communication Discover a wide range of UK & European holiday parks and short breaks perfect for families, couples, and adventurers alike. Building campaigns to drive engagement and help drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue.

The Role

As Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, delivering, and optimising marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. You'll work closely with the senior leadership team to develop strategies that strengthen our brand, generate enquiries, increase bookings, and improve customer retention.

This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day campaign execution, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creative thinking and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Plan, manage, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and offline platforms.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant channels.
  • Oversee social media strategy, content planning, and community engagement.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns and customer lifecycle communications.
  • Work with external agencies, designers, photographers, and content creators where required.
  • Create engaging marketing content including website copy, blogs, landing pages, brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor website performance, SEO, and conversion optimisation.
  • Analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools, providing regular insights and recommendations.
  • Manage the marketing budget and maximise return on investment.
  • Support the commercial team with promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal offers.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Stay up to date with travel industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing technologies.

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and passionate about marketing. You'll have a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and using data to drive decision-making.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a marketing management role.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns from concept through to delivery.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets.
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms and CRM systems.

Desirable

  • Experience within the travel, leisure, or hospitality sector.
  • Knowledge of booking systems or travel CRM platforms.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.

Working Pattern

  • Full-time 40 hours per week, permanent.
  • Office-based in Colchester three days per week, with two days working remotely.
