Marketing Manager – Customer Engagement & Journeys | Financial Services
📍 Location: London – Hybrid
🏢 Onsite: 2 days per week
📅 Contract: 12 months
🚀 Start: Mid Oct-Early Nov
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager / Marketing Specialist to support customer engagement activity across a major UK current account portfolio.
This role is focused on improving the customer lifecycle – from new-customer onboarding and activation through to ongoing in-life engagement.
You’ll work across Marketing, Product and Digital teams to redesign customer journeys, deepen relationships and develop campaigns that encourage customers to engage more actively with their current account, including increasing debit and digital wallet usage.

What you’ll be doing
- Support current account customer engagement marketing
- Redesign and optimise new-customer journeys
- Improve in-life customer journeys and communications
- Develop lifecycle and engagement campaigns
- Increase customer activation and ongoing account usage
- Support debit payment and digital wallet adoption
- Work closely with Product, Digital and Customer teams
- Use customer and campaign insights to optimise journeys and communications

We’re looking for
- Strong CRM, lifecycle or customer engagement marketing experience
- Experience designing or optimising customer journeys
- Knowledge of onboarding, activation, engagement and retention
- Digital and owned-channel campaign experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- A data-led approach to customer marketing
- Banking, payments or broader financial services experience is highly desirable
This is particularly relevant for marketers with experience across current accounts, cards, payments, CRM, lifecycle marketing or digital banking.
