Ready to take full ownership of a marketing function and shape how a growing recruitment and professional services group shows up in the market? This is a senior, standalone role with genuine autonomy — strategy, budget and team, all yours to lead.

At Cavendish Professionals, we believe in connecting people for positive and meaningful change, and we invest in our people to help them fulfil their potential. Our core values — Respect, Transparency, Ambition, Inclusion and Quality — are central to everything we do.

We're a specialist recruitment company operating across Technology and Construction, with ambitious growth plans across both divisions.

The role

The Marketing Manager leads our marketing function independently across our divisions. Reporting directly to the Directors, this is a senior role with full ownership of strategy, execution, budget and team. Working closely with the Directors and operational leads, you'll shape and deliver marketing activity that drives brand presence, candidate attraction, client engagement and business growth.

This is a real step up in responsibility, ownership and strategic impact — and we're committed to investing in the role and the person in it, across capability, resource, budget and team.

What you'll do

Strategy & campaigns

  • Own and deliver marketing strategy across Technology and Construction
  • Develop and execute strategic campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation
  • Manage and optimise multi-channel campaigns — email, social media, digital advertising and content
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and areas for growth
  • Collaborate with consultants and leadership on client and candidate engagement campaigns
  • Design and produce marketing collateral and promotional materials

Content & social media

  • Create and manage engaging content strategies — blogs, case studies, client testimonials and video
  • Oversee social media management, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all platforms
  • Produce high-quality video content and integrate AI tools into the content workflow
  • Manage internal communications to promote campaigns and our people strategy

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
