My client is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to help raise their profile, engage key audiences and support business growth through targeted, multi-channel marketing activity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality marketing and communications that support strategy and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns that promote my client's services and support business development priorities.
  • Creating engaging content for the website, social media, email marketing, client communications, case studies, articles, thought leadership, service flyers and presentations.
  • Developing email marketing and nurture activity, including newsletters, automated communications and targeted journeys.
  • Using CRM, email and campaign analytics to monitor performance, improve activity and test copy, subject lines and calls to action.
  • Supporting paid media activity, particularly LinkedIn, using performance data to optimise results.
  • Acting as custodian of the website and using analytics to identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Supporting profile-raising activity, including events, conferences, external communications, social media and client communications.
  • Working with external agencies and suppliers to deliver agreed activity to high standards and deadlines.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to junior members of the marketing team where appropriate.

Requirements

To be considered for this role candidates will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven marketing experience, ideally within professional services, financial services, pensions or another B2B environment.
  • Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing supports business development and client engagement.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A professional marketing qualification would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of CRM, email marketing, nurture journeys, marketing automation, audience segmentation, email tracking, analytics and A/B testing.
  • Experience with paid advertising, especially LinkedIn.
  • Experience planning and delivering events such as roundtables, conferences and webinars.
  • An excellent communicator who builds strong relationships at all levels.
  • Collaborative, proactive and confident taking ownership of delivery.
  • Detail-focused, with high standards of written work.
  • Creative and commercially minded, with the ability to translate business objectives into practical marketing activity.
