Marketing Manager – Brand

£40,000 – £50,000 Birmingham – hybrid working

Marketing Manager Needed!

We’re delighted to have partnered with a brilliant Birmingham-based ecommerce business that has grown at a phenomenal pace – and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Founder-led, the business has a hands-on, engaging and fast-paced culture, with a real focus on exceptional customer service, product development and putting the customer first.

Specialising in the heating, cooling and electrical sector, they offer a broad range of products across multiple ecommerce platforms and marketplaces. They know their market inside out and have built a successful business by understanding what their customers want and delivering quality products at competitive price points.

As the business has evolved, they’ve invested heavily in their digital and ecommerce presence. But with so much focus on performance and growth, they’ve recognised an opportunity to do more with their brand marketing.

And that’s where you come in....

They’re looking for an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to take greater ownership of the brand, build out their marketing calendar and create campaigns that connect their products, customers and commercial goals.

This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a perfectly polished brand plan and simply keep it ticking over. They want someone who can bring ideas to the table, spot opportunities and help shape what brand marketing looks like as the business continues to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is very much a hands-on marketing role. You’ll have the freedom to think strategically and build plans, but you’ll also need to enjoy getting stuck into the delivery.

What Are We Looking For?

You’ll ideally have 3+ years’ marketing experience, with a strong background in brand and multi-channel campaign delivery. Experience within ecommerce, retail or a product-led consumer business would be particularly beneficial.

You’ll be commercially minded and comfortable using performance and customer insight to shape your activity, but importantly, you’ll also bring creativity and fresh ideas.

You’ll need to be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders at once. This is a growing business, so you’ll need to enjoy an environment where things move quickly and where you can genuinely influence how marketing develops.

If you’re currently working in a broad marketing role and looking for an opportunity where you can take more ownership, introduce new ideas, and help shape the next stage of a growing brand, we’d love to hear from you.
