Marketing Hire #1 — TeeGo

London (hybrid) · £45-60k based on experience & skills + skin in the game & benefits

About TeeGo

TeeGo is a fast-growing indoor golf business with clubhouses across London: Angel, Balham, Battersea, Hampstead, Putney, and Hackney Wick. We're not another bar with golf. We created TeeGo for enthusiastic golfers who want to grow their game without the stag do in the bay next to them, it’s just golf and only golf. Backed by a leading “4-wall scaleup” investor and the founder of The Gym Group, we're scaling towards 20+ UK clubhouses in the next 2 years (or less). We’re a small but exceptional team of passionate golfers who’re making a positive and sizeable impact on golf in the UK (and beyond).

The role

Our first dedicated marketing hire. You'll own brand, growth marketing, comms, and digital engagement day-to-day. You will report directly to the founder/CEO. This is a hands-on role: no big team, no agency roster to lean on, and your actions will make a tangible and sizable impact on golf in the UK. You'll be doing the work and, when appropriate, directing it as well.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you need

  • 5-10 years of consumer marketing experience, weighted toward brand, but open to more experienced folks (we care more about what you can do - real results are everything to us).
  • Direct experience building a brand with a limited budget and no big team: you've had to be scrappy and make an impact without agency support and huge budgets.
  • Genuinely love golf, you'll be trusted to make brand judgment calls that need real golf experience.
  • Comfortable owning both strategy and execution (did we mention this isn't a role where someone else does the work?).
  • An ability to work independently, make hard decisions to prioritize work.
  • A mindset to handle the ambiguity of a high growth startup.

Bonus

  • Leisure, hospitality, fitness, or D2C brand background.
  • Experience in a multi-site rollout business.
  • Existing golf industry network.
