The Company – Marketing Manager
This successful financial services firm is growing and looking for a Marketing Manager to join its global team based in London. You will be working with an exceptionally bright, friendly and collaborative group of people in a deliberately non-hierarchical environment. Good ideas are welcomed regardless of who they come from and everyone is encouraged to contribute to the decisions that shape the company’s future.
Some businesses talk about giving their people a voice; here the culture is built around collaboration in a genuinely refreshing way. For many, the financial services sector conjures up images of either drab, dull offices with drab, dull people wearing drab, dull suits, or excessively and undeservedly over-confident men wearing pin-stripe suits with garish braces talking down to the waiter whilst they drink £500 bottles of wine and surround themselves with mountains of meat their rising blood pressure won't thank them for. Fortunately, neither of these scenarios applies here - this outfit is truly a great place to work and everyone is excellent at what they do and genuinely delightful to be around.
You will work closely with an outstanding Marketing Director who brings real strength across brand, creative, content, thought leadership, PR and communications. You will be trusted, supported and given the freedom to make a genuine contribution while working with someone who really knows their stuff. No hovering over your shoulder. No needlessly complicated sign-off process involving seventeen people. Just plenty of opportunity to do excellent work with an excellent team. Successes are celebrated regularly and there are bonuses on top of base salary.
The Role – Marketing Manager
This is a hands-on marketing role for someone who enjoys making things happen and then digging into the data to see whether they worked. You will take ownership of the operational, digital and analytical side of the marketing function. The Marketing Director leads on the creative and strategic elements so this role will suit someone whose strengths complement that expertise. You will bring the structure, digital knowledge and attention to detail that turn ambitious ideas into activity, results and useful insight. It is very much a consultative environment rather than a role where you quietly wait for instructions - here you'll be bringing your own ideas, perspective and expertise to the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You – Marketing Manager
You will be an experienced B2B marketer with particular strengths across digital, analytics and marketing operations. You do not need to be a brand strategist, copywriter, designer and data scientist rolled into one suspiciously overworked person. The business already has strong creative and strategic marketing expertise so what it needs is someone who can bring discipline to delivery, confidence with data and a sharp eye for how activity can be improved.
You will be comfortable using GA4, Excel and dashboards to make sense of marketing performance. Experience with LinkedIn analytics, organic social reporting, CMS platforms and SEO will also be important and an understanding of how AI is changing search behaviour would be particularly useful. If you've used Hubspot, it'd be ideal... but it's not essential.
Strong organisation and project management skills are essential as you will be coordinating agencies, suppliers and senior stakeholders while keeping numerous moving parts heading in roughly the same direction. You will also need excellent written English, the confidence to make minor edits to supplied copy and enough familiarity with Canva or similar tools to adapt existing assets when required.
Experience within financial or professional services would be useful but is not essential. Curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to get things done will matter more.
This is a full-time, office-based position in central London. The firm has deliberately built an in-office culture where people collaborate closely, understand what is happening across the wider business and make decisions quickly. If you want to join a genuinely lovely team, work alongside a brilliant Marketing Director and have a meaningful say in where the business goes next, this is a rare opportunity to do exactly that.
