Marketing Manager – Fully Remote
Location: Fully Remote – UK
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role: Marketing Manager
Reports to: Managing Director
About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing activity and help drive the next stage of growth.
This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who can think strategically but is equally comfortable executing campaigns themselves.
You will work across brand, social media, content, partnerships, digital campaigns, lead generation, events, communications, and commercial marketing, helping translate business objectives into campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, enquiries, and revenue.
As a fully remote position, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing their own workload while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, creative partners, sales teams, and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy in line with commercial objectives.
- Build quarterly and annual marketing plans with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes.
- Identify new opportunities for customer acquisition, partnerships, campaigns, and brand growth.
- Translate wider business objectives into actionable marketing activity.
- Manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
Brand & Communications
- Protect and develop the brand across all customer touchpoints.
- Ensure consistent tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity.
- Develop campaign concepts and communication strategies.
- Create compelling messaging for different audiences and customer segments.
- Work with designers, photographers, videographers, and other creative partners where required.
Content & Social Media
- Own the social media strategy across relevant platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels.
- Develop and manage an ongoing content calendar.
- Create, brief, and oversee social, video, written, and campaign content.
- Write strong marketing copy including social posts, website content, email campaigns, brochures, presentations, and sales materials.
- Identify opportunities to increase organic reach, engagement, and audience growth.
- Build the profile of the organisation and its senior leadership through thought leadership and content.
Lead Generation & Commercial Marketing
- Develop campaigns designed to generate qualified enquiries and commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with sales and leadership teams to support pipeline development.
- Create targeted campaigns for specific industries, customer groups, and decision-makers.
- Support outbound marketing through LinkedIn, email, partnerships, and account-based marketing.
- Develop marketing collateral that helps convert prospects into customers.
- Track marketing-generated leads through to commercial outcomes wherever possible.
Partnerships & Business Development Support
- Identify strategic partnerships capable of expanding brand reach and generating new opportunities.
- Develop mutually beneficial marketing partnerships with businesses, venues, organisations, and communities.
- Create partnership campaigns, offers, and promotional initiatives.
- Support the business development process with marketing intelligence, campaigns, and collateral.
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotion and collaborative marketing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Campaign Management
- Take campaigns from initial idea through strategy, creative development, launch, and reporting.
- Produce campaign briefs and coordinate stakeholders.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and campaign budgets.
- Optimise activity based on performance data.
- Ensure campaigns have clear objectives rather than simply generating activity.
Events & Experiential Marketing
- Support the marketing of events, activations, launches, and brand experiences where relevant.
- Develop pre-event, live-event, and post-event marketing strategies.
- Identify ways to use events as content and lead-generation opportunities.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to maximise event visibility and commercial return.
Email & CRM
- Develop targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Create customer journeys for prospects, previous customers, and existing clients.
- Support database segmentation and CRM marketing activity.
- Develop nurture campaigns designed to convert interest into enquiries and sales.

- Monitor campaign performance, social growth, engagement, website activity, lead generation, and commercial outcomes.
- Produce concise monthly marketing reports for senior management.
- Use data to identify what is working, what is not, and where marketing investment should be focused.
- Continually test, learn, and optimise.
What We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who are commercial marketers rather than marketing coordinators.
You should be someone who can look at a business challenge, develop the marketing approach, and then make it happen.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of experience within marketing, brand, digital, social, agency, or an integrated marketing environment.
- Experience managing campaigns from strategy through to execution.
- Strong understanding of social media and content marketing.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting ability.
- Experience developing lead-generation campaigns.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning and customer communication.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously.
